Returns & Refund Policy

Our Commitment to Healthy Plants

At HEMKESH GROUP, we take great care in packaging and shipping our plants to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. However, we understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. This policy outlines how we handle returns, replacements, and refunds for our live plants and gardening products.

Return & Refund Policy

1. Live Plants

We take utmost care in packaging our plants. However, live plants are perishable and require special handling. Please note:

  • Damaged on Arrival: If your plant arrives damaged, dead, or in poor condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos.
  • Replacement Only: Live plants are eligible for replacement, not refund, due to their perishable nature.
  • Shipping Damage: If the packaging was damaged during transit, please photograph the box before opening.
  • Customer Responsibility: Plants must be unpacked and cared for promptly upon arrival.

Important: For live plants, we require photo evidence within 24 hours of delivery to process a replacement. Delayed reporting may affect eligibility.

2. Gardening Supplies & Accessories

For non-perishable items such as pots, tools, fertilizers, and soil:

  • Return Window: 7 days from date of delivery
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • Return Shipping: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless item is defective
  • Refund: Full refund will be issued after inspection (excluding original shipping charges)

3. Seeds & Bulbs

  • Germination Issues: If seeds fail to germinate after following provided instructions, contact us with photos within 30 days of purchase
  • Package Integrity: Returns accepted only if package is unopened and in original condition
  • Replacement/Refund: Replacement provided for proven germination failures (up to 50% failure rate)

Non-Returnable Items

  • Plants that show signs of improper care after delivery
  • Items damaged due to neglect or mishandling after delivery
  • Opened or used fertilizers, pesticides, or chemicals
  • Customized or special order items
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items (unless defective)

5. How to Initiate a Return

Provide your order number, reason for return, and clear photos of the item (for plants, show the condition)

Wait for our confirmation email with return instructions and address

Pack the item securely in original packaging (if possible)

Ship the item to the provided address. Keep tracking information for reference

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after approval
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • For COD orders, refunds are processed via bank transfer (provide account details)
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed

7. Replacement Process (Live Plants)

For live plants that arrive damaged or dead:

  • Replacement is sent once the damage is verified
  • If the same plant variety is unavailable, we will offer a similar plant or store credit
  • Replacement shipping is free for verified damage claims
  • We may request return of the original plant for inspection (shipping covered by us)
